Down The Road Again
Gotta send some love to my Pops. Donald Shebib. The man who taught me how be critical of my craft. How to strive for excellence as an artist and in life.
Hes working on his new film, a sequel to his legendary Canadian Classic "Goin' Down The Road". Tonight is his last night of shooting, and i wanted to wish him luck.

Q: Knowing that the original had such an impact on Canadian cinema in a way that, presumably, you couldn’t have anticipated—
A: Oh I had no idea.
Q: But what would you say your hopes are for the sequel?
A: I hope that it proves that Canadians can make films that touch people, and that can make people cry. I don’t like Canadian films.
Q: Why’s that?
A: They’re fucking boring. They’re unemotional. I’m famous for putting them down. I’ve been doing it for twenty-five years. We’ve made too many dull, boring, Canadian movies. When they start making fun of Canadian films on South Park, then it’s fucking enough.

I Love My City
Theres alot of people, and music, that shaped me when i was young. Its amazing to realize that so much of it was from home. There was always something special about hiphop coming out of this city, im just honored to be a part of it. These are just a few of my favorite Toronto classics.
